    Law takes over the world – a downgrading, or a reconfiguration? Having for a long time been tied up with the notion of national sovereignty, law is no longer confined within nation-States. Nowadays its scope is extending beyond national boundaries. Now what does this trend mean? Are we in the presence of a weakening of the very notion of law? Or instead, does the increased interdependence between legal systems portend a new-fangled legal order, and a new universalism with it?
